GREENWAY GOLF x SOCCER WITHOUT BORDERS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

For our coaching team, we recruit Soccer Without Borders alumni as camp counselors and student-athletes as golf instructors, allowing us to expand the social impact of our no-cost youth programs by providing income and valuable job training for deserving young people.

Alma first tried golf at the age of eight. With 3 years of prior experience teaching at other camps, she values the opportunities golf has given her to play in seven different countries. She looks forward to improving her leadership skills as the new Golf Instruction Lead and is excited to teach kids the best things that golf has to offer.

Amaan is excited to be part of the coaching team for a fifth year and work with youth, fostering their passion for the game. He loves connecting with the campers and getting to know all of their individual personalities. He started playing golf at the age of 3, and his favorite golfing memories have been formed with his brother on the course.

Arendi was introduced to golf in elementary school and quickly found joy in the simple fun of playing with friends. Now stepping into a coaching role with On The Green, she’s excited to meet new people and create lasting memories this summer. With an open mind and positive energy, Arendi is ready to help campers experience golf in a way that’s both fun and unique.

Cassie’s golf journey began at the age of three. A former camp lead, she's excited to witness the youth learn and have fun. Cassie finds golf rewarding, fun, and beautiful, and she values the sport for its ability to teach valuable life lessons and its welcoming, inclusive side, which she discovered through On the Green Summer Camp.

Dylan first picked up a golf club at the age of 3 and hasn’t put it down since. After volunteering for the past two summers with On The Green through the Youth on Course DriveClub program, Dylan returns this year as a golf coach. She’s excited to build connections with campers and share the life lessons she has learned through golf over the years. To Dylan, golf is more than a game—it’s a way to navigate challenges, both on and off the course.

Gerardo picked up a golf club for the first time just a month ago—and was surprised by how engaging and challenging the sport can be. A seasoned youth soccer coach, he’s excited to bring his experience to the golf course as our camp intern and join a vibrant new community at On The Green. For Gerardo, the most rewarding part of coaching is watching young people grow, improve, and enjoy themselves. He’s looking forward to learning alongside his peers and helping campers find their own path in the game.

Leonardo started playing golf at the age of 6 and quickly fell in love with both the competition and camaraderie the sport offers. He cherishes memories of walking off the 18th green knowing he’s built friendships with people he just met four hours earlier. As a first-time On The Green coach, he looks forward to helping create a space where youth can explore the sport and form connections of their own. He’s especially excited to meet new people and contribute to a summer filled with growth and fun.

Najji was introduced to golf in 2022 as an On The Green Summer Camp participant. She thought it would be easy and not at all challenging, but her perception of golf has evolved significantly, and she has honed her skills both as a camper and coach. She is excited to return as a third-year coach and continue improving her game while contributing to the camp's vibrant community.

As a fourth-year returning Camp Lead, he loves working with youth, and is excited to reconnect with campers and continue helping them develop life skills in a supportive environment. No Roah first tried golf in 2022 as a first-year coach at On The Green Summer Camp and has developed a passion for the game. He is a proud owner of a set of clubs and now enjoys regular rounds with friends, finding peace and calm in the game and the open space.

Santi first tried golf two years ago when he joined the On the Green Summer Camp team. Santiago loves learning and teaching new ways to coach and enjoys working with new people and kids, regardless of how challenging it might be. He finds coaching and counseling a fun experience where he learns new things every day and every year.

For Saul, the best part of camp is the energy—seeing campers smile, enjoying the outdoors, and being surrounded by great people. He’s excited to meet new campers and help others discover how fun and calming golf can be.

Sophia was introduced to golf at the age of 10 through her brother, and the sport has been part of her life ever since. She’s excited to step into her first year as an OTG coach and share her love for the game with the campers. For Sophia, golf isn’t just a sport—it’s a powerful teacher of patience and resilience. She looks forward to helping youth discover just how joyful and empowering the game can be.
