Program Purpose
The Youth Professional Development Program is a two-week intensive workforce and leadership training experience designed to prepare 10–15 youth professionals to support sports-based youth development programming through a Soccer Without Borders lens.
Participants will build coaching, leadership, workplace readiness, communication, and mentorship skills while preparing to lead soccer and footgolf programs. Youth professionals will also gain practical experience supporting Soccer Without Borders summer programming in Oakland and Hayward.
Training Dates:
Week 1 - June 22nd - 26th
Week 2 - June 29th - July 3rd*

This training blends professional development, sports-based youth development
practices, workplace etiquette, and hands-on leadership opportunities.
