Ready to compete for the Corica Cup? Here's everything you need to know:

REGISTRATION

Entry Fee: $50 per player. This covers all five weeks of competition and your shot at winning incredible prizes.

Registration Closes June 13th at 11:59 PM.

PRIZES

The top three teams will take home bragging rights and fantastic awards:

First Place:

• The official Corica Cup Trophy for each player.

• Free Footgolf for up to four players through September 30th, 2026 (subject to availability).

• Four tickets to a future Roots home game.

Second Place:

• Runner-up medals for each player.

• Official Corica Park headwear for each player.

Third Place:

• Official Corica Park headwear for each player.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Team Size: Teams must have exactly three (3) players. No substitutions are allowed once the competition begins.

Gameplay: All three players will play their own ball on every hole.

SCORING

Weekly Score: Your team's 9-hole score for the week is the sum of the two best individual scores on each hole.

Final Tournament Score: At the end of the 5-week tournament, we'll drop each team's highest weekly score. The sum of the remaining four weeks will be your final Corica Cup score.

Winning: The team with the lowest total score wins!

SCHEDULE

Kickoff Competition: Join us on June 5th for our First Friday event! The winner gets a free team entry into the Corica Cup.

Weekly Play: Complete your rounds anytime during the designated week, based on course availability. Scores must be submitted by 9:00 p.m. each Saturday. A leaderboard will be sent out after all scores are in.

Tournament Weeks:

• Week 1: June 7–13

• Week 2: June 14–20

• Week 3: June 21–27

• Week 4: July 5–11

• Week 5: July 12–18

RULES OF PLAY

1. Tee Off: Kick from up to 3 feet behind the designated tee markers (forward-most tee on each hole). No running starts allowed.

2. The Kick: The ball must be kicked in a single motion. No scooping, pushing, or dragging.

3. Play It As It Lies: Kick the ball from where it stops. Do not move your ball or any permanent obstacles.

4. Hazards & Out of Bounds: If your ball lands in a hazard (bunker, water) or goes out of bounds, take a drop (two steps from where it entered) and add a one-stroke penalty.

5. Pace of Play: To keep things moving, the maximum score on any hole is 10 kicks.

6. Incomplete Holes/Rounds:

   1. A player who doesn't finish a hole will receive a score of 10 for that hole.

   2. A team that fails to submit a weekly score will receive a score of 180 for that week.

7. Tiebreaker: If there's a tie for first place, a single-hole, sudden-death playoff will be scheduled to crown the champion.
