The South Course underwent a complete new construction and design by renowned golf architect Rees Jones. Styled after the sand belt courses of Australia, the Alameda Corica Park South Course is the only one of its kind by Rees Jones in the Bay Area. Environmental features include: improved drainage and water reclamation, state-of-the-art irrigation, and drought-tolerant grasses. Even the soft-curbed cart paths contain recycled glass. Other course features include: professional Tour style course conditioning for great lies, climate sustainable grass with natural water wildlife habitats, wide expansive fairways to help your drives find the short grass, fun risk & reward options for imaginative shot making, distinct Australian design feel (without traveling down under) with 5 sets of tees to provide many different playing angles.
The Parkland North Course... currently closed undergoing a full new remodel. Originally designed in 1927 by William Park Bell and partially redesigned by Desmond Muirhead in 1967, the North Course is undergoing a full redesign and remodel (Click to read about Improvement Plans). It is being developed by Greenway Golf's legendary Australian Marc Logan, named one of the most influential project/construction managers in the world. It's a little shorter than the new South Course and will feature more dog legs and water in play on 13 holes. The front 9 is planned for opening late summer/early fall 2021. Once it opens the back 9 will be completed in 2022.
Mif Albright Par 3 Course
A fun 9-hole, par-3 course that plays from 75 to 147 yards per hole. It's great for beginners, juniors, seniors, short-game practice or just quick fun with friends. What most people don't know about the Mif is that it was designed by Marc Logan and built by the in-house expert construction team of Greenway Golf; the same crews that remodeled the South Course and are now working on the North Course. Overall Result: The Mif is the best Par 3 course in the region.
